HSU Press presents the release of American Prometheus: Carnegie's Captain, Bill Jones by Dr. Tom Gage with a public lecture and book signing on Monday, May 8th from 4-5pm in the Library Fishbowl.
Come meet the author, get your book signed, and enjoy light refreshments.

Don't want your old textbooks? Donate them to the Library's Textbooks on Reserve program!
Bring them to the Checkout Desk when you are done with them and we'll take them off your hands.  You can have a donation label put inside the book, leaving your mark for the next user. 
Any books not accepted are sold to Better World Books with proceeds going to purchase more books!  It's a win-win for all involved and future students will thank you for your generosity.

This semester's casual forum consists of lightening (brief) talks and breakout sessions on projects and research related to digital scholarship, publishing, and sustainable learning. Check out the schedule for the many interesting topics.

Humboldt State University ideaFest Thursday, April 19, 2018
More than 200 students, faculty, and staff from all areas on campus will showcase research, performances, digital projects, and more at the 2018 ideaFest.
Casually stroll through the posters from 12-3pm with the formal reception and presentations running from 3-5pm on all floors of the Library.
Catch musical performances in the Library lobby. Move up to the 2nd floor for theater and dance performances outside of the CoLab L205 and posters and presentations outside of the Fishbowl L209. Even more posters will also be on display on the 3rd floor in the Scholars Lab area.
Refreshments will be served.  Come be impressed by your peers and colleagues!
