Students working in the Humboldt Room
The Library's Special Collections invites current students to submit an application for the Humboldt State University Library Scholar Internship. This internship offers students an opportunity to work with the Humboldt Room and Redwood National Park to gain valuable experience processing collections, creating finding aids, and designing both physical and digital exhibits. Applications are due December 15 for the spring semester.

College of Professional Studies Librarian, Kimberly Stelter, with the help of the Academic and Career Advising Center, has pulled together resources for students that could help after graduation and beyond.  Some topics include seeking out jobs, applying to graduate school, how to write and get published, and many more.  There are also lots of ebooks available, so information on how to find them including some suggested search terms is also available. Humboldt State University Press invites you to join us for the launch of CouRaGeouS Cuentos: A Journal of Counternarratives, Volume 2 on Tuesday, May 2 from 3:30-5pm in the Scholars Lab, 3rd floor of the Library. This journal is full of creative writing from students in classes offered by the Department of Critical Race, Gender & Sexuality Studies. Hear powerful readings and enjoy light refreshments as we celebrate the students' hard work.
