November 2018

Did you know HSU has an extensive permanent collection of art, consisting of over 1000 objects? And that many of the artworks in the collection are on display in the HSU Library? Artworks on display in the library include pieces by widely known artists such as Martin Wong and Julian Stanczak, to locally beloved artists like Jim McVicker and Lien Truong. There is even one piece by Salvador Dalí! Please join Kumi Watanabe-Schock, Britt Sheldon (HSU Gallery Director), and gallery interns Gabby Reisz and Michelle Sommer for a tour of art in the Library on Tuesday, December 4th at 2pm! We’ll meet in the lobby and go from there. This event is free and all are welcome to join!
